4. Location tracking
The Nearby Projects Alerts feature allows you to receive alerts when you approach an active project site. To enable this, the app uses geofencing and background location tracking.
- Optional: Location tracking is turned off by default and only activated if you opt-in through Settings.
- How it works: The app monitors your location to detect when you are near a project site and sends you an on-device notification.
- Background use: If enabled, the app may access your location in the background so that alerts can be delivered even when the app is closed.
- Data handling: Your location is not stored or shared with third parties. It is used only to trigger nearby project alerts and to display relevant project details within the app.
- Control: You can disable this feature at any time in your device’s Settings.
