What is installation management software?
Installation management software plans and tracks the physical side of an installation project: what products are being delivered and when, which site and space each one goes to, which crew installs it, the tasks around it, and the test forms and sign-off that prove it is done. It picks up where the sale ends and runs until handover and aftercare.

Why do installation schedules slip?
An installation schedule is only as good as the deliveries and people underneath it. Most contractors plan the job in one place, chase suppliers in email, book crews in a shared calendar and record what was fitted on paper or in a spreadsheet. When a pallet arrives short or a crew is moved, nobody sees the knock-on until the installers are standing on site without the kit.
Deliveries nobody checked in
Part-deliveries get signed for and forgotten, so the missing items only surface on install day.
Crews booked without the kit
The calendar says the team is on site, but nothing links the booking to whether the products for that site have arrived.
Tasks that live in people's heads
Paperwork, test forms and follow-up jobs happen because someone remembers them, not because the finished step started the next one.
How do you manage an installation, from order to handover?
01 · Load the products
Add products from your library or import them by CSV or from ERP sales orders and quotes, then assign each one to its site and space.02 · Schedule deliveries
Create delivery schedules, or generate them from imported purchase orders. Check items in by QR code and flag anything incomplete.03 · Book crews and tasks
Put installers and contractors on the calendar, and run the job as a workflow so each finished task triggers the next ones.04 · Install, test and sign off
Installers record serials and data points, complete the test form attached to each product offline if needed, then collect signatures.05 · Hand over and support
Issue a branded report, and keep the installed products on record by site and space for helpdesk tickets and maintenance visits.Put your next project's deliveries and crews on one plan.
What should installation management software do?
An installer's work is a list of products that have to arrive, be fitted, be tested and be handed over. Integrio keeps the schedule, the people and the evidence attached to those products.
✓Delivery schedule software
Manage deliveries from supplier to site, track incoming and outgoing items, flag incomplete orders and check them in instantly with QR codes.
✓Products by site and space
Search and filter installed products by customer, site or space, with each product's data points, history, test records and helpdesk tickets.
✓Workflows and trigger tasks
Define the sequence of tasks for each project type. Trigger tasks start several follow-up tasks at once, and task instructions carry the checklist and safety notes.
✓Crews on one calendar
Sync with Office 365 and Google Calendar, see engineers on a live map, calculate travel time between sites, and give contractors access to specific projects only.
✓Test forms per product
Attach testing and commissioning forms to each product, with mandatory fields that must be completed before project sign-off.
✓ERP in, ERP out
Import customers, sales orders, quotes and purchase orders, and update your ERP automatically when products are checked in.
Installation management in Integrio: the short version
- What it is
- Web and mobile software (iOS, Android, browser) for running installation projects product by product, site by site.
- Who uses it
- Installation contractors: commercial solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installers, building services, fire and security, IT and network, IoT and electrical teams.
- What it plans
- Delivery schedules, products per site and space, crews on a shared calendar, and workflow tasks that trigger the next step.
- What it records
- Serials and other data points per product, test and commissioning forms, photos, snags, time sheets and signatures.
- Price
- Office User £65 per user per month (£52 billed annually) for planning, product management and workflows; Field Service User £15 (£12 annually) for installers on site.
- Limits
- Not an ERP, stock-control, design or quoting tool. It imports from and updates your ERP, and it does not issue certificates or submit grid-connection applications.
What should an installation schedule template include?
Use this as the starting point for an installation schedule or installation plan, then set it up in Integrio: products and deliveries on the project, crews on the calendar, and the checks as a form built in the Integrio Form Builder.
✓Customer, site, and each space or area on the site

✓Access, parking and storage arrangements on site
✓Crew or contractor booked, with dates and travel time
✓Task sequence, dependencies and who owns each task
✓Task instructions: method, safety requirements and quality checks
✓Test or commissioning form required per product
✓Paperwork due to third parties, as tasks with owners and dates
✓Snags raised and cleared
✓Sign-off: who signs, and in what order
✓Handover pack contents and aftercare or maintenance start date
Frequently asked questions
What do contractors ask about installation management software?
Ask our team →What is the difference between installation management and project management software?
+
General project management tools track tasks and dates. Installation management adds the products: what is being delivered, where each item goes, whether it has arrived, who fits it, and the serials, test forms and sign-off that belong to it. Integrio does both, with workflows and Kanban boards for the tasks and product management for the kit.
Can it manage delivery schedules?
+
Yes. Delivery schedules track items from supplier to site, show whether an order is on order, partly delivered or delivered, flag incomplete orders, and let installers check items in by scanning the product QR code. With ERP integration, importing a purchase order can create the delivery schedule for you.
Which installers is it for?
+
Contractors who install products across one or many sites: commercial solar PV, battery storage and EV charge point installers, building services and BMS, fire and security, IT and network, IoT and electrical contractors. It suits jobs with a lot of serialised kit, several deliveries and more than one crew.
Can subcontractors use it?
+
Yes. Contractor and third-party access lets you share specific projects with external teams and set custom permissions, so a subcontract crew sees its own bookings and tasks without seeing the rest of your data.
Does it work offline on site?
+
Yes. The mobile apps and forms work offline. Everything is saved on the device and syncs automatically when a connection returns, which suits roofs, plant rooms, basements and car parks.
Does Integrio replace our ERP or design software?
+
No. It is not an ERP, stock-control, design or quoting tool. It imports customers, sales orders, quotes and purchase orders from your ERP and updates the ERP when products are checked in. Design, yield modelling, certification and grid-connection applications stay with the tools and bodies that do them today.
What does it cost?
+
Planning, product management, delivery schedules, workflows and resource management are on Office User at £65 per user per month, or £52 billed annually. Installers who only work on site use Field Service User at £15, or £12 billed annually. There is a free 7-day trial with no credit card required.
