Record irradiance with every Isc
Isc moves with the sun. A reading with no irradiance next to it can't be compared with the rated figure, or with the same string next year.

For each string: module quantity and rated Voc and Isc, protective device and cable details, measured Voc, Isc and irradiance, a polarity check, insulation resistance positive and negative to earth with the test voltage, earth continuity where fitted, and array isolator and inverter checks with the inverter's make, model and serial number.
Last updated . Facts checked on 30 September 2026 against MCS: MIS 3002 Issue 6.0, The Solar PV Installation Standard (18/03/2026).
Who uses it
The commissioning engineer or electrician testing a PV array, one sheet per string or per inverter.
When
At initial verification after installation, and again at periodic inspection or after a string is repaired.
In Integrio
Build it once in the Form Builder (Office User), attach it to projects, and your team fills it in on iOS or Android, offline if needed.

From the field
Isc moves with the sun. A reading with no irradiance next to it can't be compared with the rated figure, or with the same string next year.
On a commercial roof, identical strings should read alike. A string reading well below its neighbours points to a wiring or module problem in that string; find it before the scaffold comes down.
Store results against the inverter and string reference, not just the job. When an O&M ticket comes in years later, the baseline readings are one tap away.
If a reading fails, record what was found and what was done, then retest on a fresh sheet. Overwriting a failed reading hides the history the next engineer needs.
MIS 3002 says the system is commissioned to a documented procedure and inspected and tested to Section 16 of the IET Code of Practice for grid-connected solar PV (excluding 16.4). Its Appendix E model array test report, adapted from BS EN 62446-1, records Voc, Isc, irradiance, polarity, insulation resistance and isolator and inverter checks for each string.

It covers the same readings as the model array test report that MCS reproduces from BS EN 62446-1, laid out as a mobile form. IEC 62446-1 also covers inspection criteria and the documentation handed to the customer, so keep the standard itself for the full procedure.

No. This sheet records the PV array tests. The AC side still needs its BS 7671 certification, and the DNO and MCS paperwork is separate.
Yes. Use the fields on paper, in a spreadsheet, or set it up in Integrio as a testing form on each inverter.
Build it once in the Integrio Form Builder, which is on the Office User plan (£65 per user per month), and attach it to the inverter product so every unit gets the same test form. Engineers fill it in on the mobile app on the Field Service User plan (£15 per user per month), offline on roofs with no signal.
